
Camping at High Cliff State Park
April 17-19
Description: Join Troop 21 for a weekend of camping on the bluffs overlooking Wisconsin largest inland lake, Lake Winnebago. High Cliff State Park has great hiking trails, a beach, lime stone cliffs, Native American effigy mounds, and a quarry. Due to the distance of the drive (110 miles) we will be seeking parents to drive and stay with us in camp for the weekend.
Schedule:
Meet at church at 5:00 p.m. - Friday, April 17.
We will arrive at camp and set up into the darkness. Be Prepared!
Return to church at 12:00 noon - Sunday, April 19.
Cost:
No Camping Fee Charges - $15 Patrol food cost paid to patrol food shoppers
Menu Plans:
Friday supper - brown bag lunch to eat in cars
Saturday Breakfast – cook it on propane stoves
Saturday Lunch – make something there
Saturday Supper – cook it on propane stoves
Sunday Breakfast – cook it on propane stoves
Drinks for all meals provided by Troop
All food must be in Patrol coolers or bags with patrol names
Equipment:
Change of clothing, warm jacket and hat, rain gear, compass, merit badge books, Scout handbook, etc. Dress for the weather.

Saturday morning - advancement – prepare for summer advancement
Saturday afternoon - free time
